Biscuit & breakfast chain files permit for first Columbus location

A taste of the South is coming to the Grandview-area.

Biscuit Belly, which first opened in Louisville in 2019, filed a permit to move to the former Hot Chicken Takeover space at 1417 W. 5th Ave. (which was also a Sweet Carrot and formerly Rife’s Market).

The fast-casual breakfast chain is known for its from-scratch biscuits and huge breakfast sandwiches, and of course, biscuits and gravy. Other notable menu items include French toast, pancakes, chicken and waffles, omelettes, and even BLTs and club sandwiches.

Currently, there are 13 other locations, and this will be the first in Ohio. An opening date has yet to be announced, but stay tuned!
