A unique local craft brewery with an even more unique name is getting its own space for the first time.

Earlier this week, Dafuque Beer Co. announced its new Short North Taproom, which is located at 1205 N. High St., will hold its grand opening on Feb. 28.

The Black-owned and pandemic-born craft brewery was originally located inside of Mecca Beverage House–a collective of minority-owned drink brands–which is located at 745 Taylor Ave.

Dafuque focuses on a wide range of styles, churning out everything from Belgian Trippels to West Coast IPAs.

“Opening our first standalone taproom is a huge milestone for us. It represents years of hard work, growth, and belief in our brand. We’re excited to finally welcome the community into a space that truly reflects who Dafuque Beer Company is and what we’re building here in Columbus,” Andrew Whittaker, Dafuque owner and CEO told 614Now.
