Build-your-own spot for Mediterranean bowls, pitas announces new location

Zaytoon Mediterranean Grill is coming to Powell.

In a social media post from Jan. 28, the popular Columbus brand announced that it plans to open a second location in Powell. The eatery will be located at 10726 Sawmill Pkwy.

“After years of serving Columbus, we’re bringing Zaytoon to Powell this June. You’ll find us at Wedgewood on Sawmill Pkwy–same recipes, same family, just a new neighborhood to call home,” the eatery’s post reads. “Powell’s getting its first Mediterranean build-a-bowl spot, and we couldn’t be more excited to be part of this community. See you in June.”

Zaytoon allows diners to customize their own bowls and pitas, choosing from proteins like gyro, chicken shawarma, falafel and more, which can then be topped with a wide variety of vegetables and sauces.

The eatery’s original storefront is located at 5450 Westpointe Plaza Dr.
