Cafe launches new concept in Grandview
The Hive Coffee & Cafe has officially launched their rebrand in Grandview. Located at 1160 Goodale Blvd., the location replaced Basic Biscuits, Kindness & Coffee. They’ve rebranded the space and officially launched a new expanded menu.

Owners Anthony and Kalie Berin took over the space in October of 2025. They promised a completely renovated interior, expanded menu, and longer operating hours. The pair confirmed the change via social media. The post reads “on March 3rd with the launch of our new lunch menu, we’ll also be launching our new name, The Hive. We already have our new website up and running and all online ordering will move to that site beginning 3/3, at which time, you’ll also see the name change on Instagram and Google. Remember, everything you love about Basic Biscuits is staying, we’re just getting a little refresh to bring you more to love. Questions? Don’t hesitate to ask!”
Their updated menu can be found here, and the updated operating hours are 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Tuesday-Friday and 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on weekends. The lunch menu is available starting at 11:00 A.M in the morning.
