A Lancaster winery and restaurant is bottling up some national accolades to go along with its libations.
Rhonemus Cellars, a “destination winery and vineyard” located at 1511 George Rd. NE, along the back nine of The View Golf Course in Lancaster, was one of Midwest Living’s best new restaurants in their Best of the Midwest 2026 awards. A total of 13 eateries landed on the list.

“Wines crafted by Nova Cadamatre, the first female Master of Wine in the U.S., who has crafted highly rated bottles from estate-grown varietals like Noiret and Chardonel. The combination of serious winemaking, thoughtful cooking, and dramatic views is drawing diners from across the region—book ahead to secure a table at one of Lancaster’s most ambitious new restaurants,” the outlet wrote.
The eateries were not ranked on the outlet’s new list.
