On January 20th, Council unanimously approved a new development on 37-acres at Polaris Parkway and Worthington Rd. that would be anchored by an Aldi.

Along with a 21,000 square-foot Aldi, the plan includes 12 buildings total, for offices, two restaurants, and a “food court/brewery.”

Aldi is an international supermarket known for offering a variety of grocery items all at a discounted price. The chain first opened ini 1913 in Germany, but didn’t arrive to the United States until the ’70s.
