Columbus flower shop of nearly 20 years closes Short North storefront
A Columbus flower vendor has shuttered its brick and mortar space after nearly two decades.
According to owner Mary McColgan, the Short North flower store Rose Bredl Flowers & Gardens has officially closed its doors. The store, which was located at 664 N. High St., shuttered on New Year’s Eve.
Rose Bredl offered floral arrangements and more from its Short North space for 17 years.

And while Rose Bredl has closed its brick and mortar space, it doesn’t mean the former Short North storefront is done. According to McColgan, she now operates the brand from her home, and will continue to do.
“While this marks the closing of a special chapter, Rose Bredl weddings and pop-ups will continue with the same care and creativity you’ve always known,” a social media post announcing the closure reads. “Thank you for being part of our story and for making this space so full of life.”
