Following building damage-related closure, coffee concept finds new home

After nearly 10 years operating out of their Hilliard location on Main St., Coffee Connections was forced to close and vacate due to floor damage earlier this summer. Luckily, that wasn’t the end of the coffee company.

The cafe has a new home, in the basement of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship located at 4066 Main St. Owners Sharon and Nate Grenier confirmed via social media. The post said, “The last few weeks have felt a little like living out of a suitcase.I’ve joked about being in our “vagabond era,” but in that moment, something shifted. Our cozy campsite started to feel like home. Is it perfect? NOPE. There’s still work to do. We’re still dreaming. Our espresso bar is still on the way. But yesterday gave us hope. So we’re settling into a new rhythm for this season.” They said, “If we’re honest, we’re feeling a mix of emotions—hopeful, grateful, and emotionally exhausted. It’s been a long season, but we’re excited to open the doors and see what God has in store.” 

Coffee Connections is open Wednesday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the basement of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, just blocks from their former location.
