Columbus Anime-themed eatery closes brick and mortar, lists spot for sale
A unique Merion Village eatery plans to close its doors while being listed for sale.
According to multiple social media posts from local anime-themed eatery Chef Hiro, the concept’s brick and mortar space will close, and is currently for sale.
Owner Jeanclaude Ba, has advertised the “turn key” restaurant space that’s located at 1297 Parsons Ave. is for sale for $90,000. Ba doesn’t own the building, but is selling the equipment and the ability to take over his lease, the rent for which is $3,000 a month.

According to Ba, who also owns a Chef Hiro food truck, health issues and the burden of operating a brick and mortar restaurant space are leading him to close the space.
It’s not exactly clear when Chef Hiro will close, but the eatery held a Chef Hiro Farewell Party over the weekend.
