For a short amount of time, Westerville will not have the meats.

In a facebook post earlier this week, the city of Westerville announced it has begun the demolition process on the longstanding Arby’s building located at 680 S. State St. in Uptown Westerville, which will be rebuilt as a new, upgraded Arby’s.

“The old Arby’s is getting torn down for a glow-up,” the post from the city of Westerville reads. “The longstanding Westerville Arby’s is officially getting a new makeover and [Westerville City Council chair Megan Czako] joined the crew for demo day! Take a look at the images below to see some of the demolition in progress.”

According to David Skidmore, Director of Real Estate at Inspire Company Restaurants, the new Arby’s is slated to open in November, although a specific date has not been announced.
