Columbus-area cookie shop nominated for best cookies in the country in ‘USA Today’ reader award

Last year, Lion Cub’s Cookies came away named the country’s second best cookie shop in USA Today’s 10Best Readers Choice Awards. This year, they’re hoping for the top spot.

As part of its annual 10Best readers Choice Awards, USA Today named Lion Cub’s to its list of nominees for the Best Cookie Shop category. There are 19 in total, and the popular Columbus-area spot is the only Ohio representative.

You can vote once per day here. Voting runs through June 8, and winners will be announced June 16, with the top 10 finishers making the final best-of list.

Last year, Lion Cub’s —which is known for serving massive cookies that are still warm from the oven—was named the nation’s second best cookie shop, behind only Grandma’s Cookies in St. Charles, Missouri.
