Columbus-area restaurant has closed after less than a year

A Columbus-area restaurant has closed after less than a year—MiaMar Grill has shut their doors. Aladdin’s Eatery has moved into the space, and they are currently open.

MiaMar Grill first opened at  732 N. State St., in Westerville on August 19, 2025. The Mediterranean-inspired grill has officially closed their doors. According to signage posted on the building, the space has been converted into an Aladdin’s Eatery, which is now operational. According to an Aladdin’s employee, the location has been open for four days. The popular Middle Eastern Eatery is Ohio-based, started in 1994 by Fady Chamoun. 

Aladdin’s Eatery features Lebanese and Middle Eastern cuisine. Their menu includes award-winning hummus, tabouli, soups, salads, pitas, falafel, dawali, and more. They are open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. You can follow them here for updates and announcements.
