Columbus donut shop is one of the best in the country, national food news outlet says

A new list from a national food news and review blog is tapping a Columbus donut shop as one of the nation’s best.

On an Aug. 13, 2foodtrippers made a post titled 30 Great Donuts in America, and the outlet tapped local spot Destination Donuts as an entry on their list.

“Destination Donuts debuted as a pop-up in Columbus at the city’s bustling North Market in 2012. Now located in its own shop six miles from the market, it’s become a destination for donut fans in Ohio’s capital city,” the list reads. “Flavors change daily and run the gamut from sweet to sweeter. Regardless of the flavor or sweetness level, these decadent donuts are a great dessert option. And, in a relatively recent development, they’re all vegan.”

The Columbus donut shop landed at number 28. It wasn’t the only Buckeye State spot to land on the list, either. Holtman’s Donut Shop in Cincinnati took the 19th spot.
