New bao concept with ‘street food energy,’ opens doors
Red Bao Kitchen officially launched its own delivery and takeout services on June 15.
During the Columbus Arts Festival, Red Bao teased its soft launch by offering free samples and announced their new ghost kitchen location.
The Red Bao experience combines traditional recipes with modern on-the-go service, offering steamed bao buns filled with meat or veggies, matcha, and soon-to-be expanded side dishes.
Each menu item is rooted in family tradition, founded by Alicia Long, a first-generation immigrant from Southern China. Inspired by the food Long grew up eating, she brought her philosophy of bringing people together to Columbus, from the handmade bao to Grandpa’s Crispy Chili Oil.
