Columbus one of two cities nationwide used by Burger King as test market for unique new products

Last week, Columbus became one of only two cities nationwide used as a test market for a lineup of new Burger King products.

According to a press release, the burger chain will test out its new King Sized Slider Box, which comes complete with a trio of new burgers, from April 14-May 4. The new product will only be available in Columbus and Portland, Oregon.

The boxes come in either two or six-burger sizes, and customers can choose to make theirs up from the following new slider varieties:

Deluxe Slider: fresh lettuce, tomato, pickles, and tangy burger aioli

Steakhouse Bacon Slider: melty Swiss cheese, crispy bacon, crispy onions and peppercorn sauce

Bacon & Cheese Slider: crispy bacon, melty American cheese and tangy burger aioli

“Duos and Trios continue to perform well by offering guests choice, price certainty and consistency. In a year when there was significant noise across the industry around value, this dependable platform allowed us to focus our marketing behind Whopper-led innovation,” Burger King Executive Vice President and CFO said in a press release.
