Columbus sweet shop unveils Dunkaroos inspired cookie
If you spent your childhood dunking cookies into frosting and washing it down with a juice box, you’re going to want to hear about this.

Lion Cub’s Cookies is bringing back its nostalgic Dunk-A-Lion treat, but this time, it’s getting an upgrade, and it’s only available for one week. Here’s what they said, “We may have gotten a little carried away with this one. Introducing DUNK-A-LION 2.0. This isn’t just cookies and buttercream – it’s a whole experience!”
The throwback treat comes with a cup of rainbow sugar cookies and your choice of two buttercream flavors from their selection—Vanilla Bean, Rainbow, Cookies n Cream, Pumpkin, and Peanut Butter.
From there, there are no rules. Choose from vanilla bean, rainbow, cookies n cream, pumpkin or peanut butter buttercream, then go to town. Dip the cookies, dunk them, scoop up some frosting, make a cookie sandwich or mix the two flavors together to create your perfect bite. They said, “Create YOUR perfect bite. Play with your food again.” Dunk-A-Lion 2.0 is only available for one week, while supplies last.
Lion Cub’s Cookies says it expects the cookies to go fast, so if you want to relive your ’90s snack era, you’ll want to move quickly. Both their locations are open Monday through Sunday this week, you can find them in Grandview at 1261 Grandview Ave., or Worthington at 7105 North High Street.
