Brewery closed after storm destroys windows; Here’s what else is closed

A popular Columbus brewery is closed for at least the rest of the day after their windows were blown out in storms this morning

“What’s the best way to say that the storm blew out our entire front window in the taproom,” an Instagram post from Derive Brewing Co. reads. “Stephen went full sailor trying to bail out water like we were on a pirate ship.”

While Derive’s post said that no one was injured in the incident, the brewery will be closed “today at minimum,” noting that their power is also out and more inclement weather is headed their way

Derive Brewing Co. is located at 2808 N. High St. in Clintonville. The Columbus craft beer spot noted it will post updates to social media when they become available.
