Craft brewery closes Franklinton, Short North locations
BrewDog has closed two of its Columbus locations.
According to statements posted to the brand’s social media pages today, BrewDog’s Franklinton and Short North taprooms have closed.
The brewery posted to both its Franklinton and Short North social media accounts this morning to announce the closures. It’s unclear why the closures happened.

“This bar has been part of countless great moments—from late-night pints to unforgettable game days—and we’re grateful for the guests, teammates, and partners who brought it to life,” the statement announcing the Closure of BrewDog Short North reads.
BrewDog Franklinton was located at 463 W. Town St., and its Short North space was located at 1175 N. High St.
The concept, which is based in Scotland but operates a United States headquarters in Canal Winchester, still operates its DogTap space, which is located at 98 Gender rd. in Canal Winchester, and its New Albany taproom, which is located at 97 E. Dublin Granville Rd.
