Dublin steakhouse announces temporary closure for “major reboot”
This spring, a popular Dublin eatery will close its doors for over a month to undergo renovations.
Matt the Miller’s Tavern, a Dublin steakhouse, will close from April 27-June 1 for a major renovation. According to a press release, CLB Restaurants (the local restaurant group behind the eatery), will invest more than $500,000 into the popular eatery, which is located 6725 Avery-Muirfield Dr.
“We are incredibly grateful for the support this community has shown us over the years,” Michael Salimbene, communications manager for CLB Restaurants, said in a press release. “With this renovation, we really wanted to provide Dublin with a refreshed and refined experience. That’s ultimately why Craig decided to sink the money into this great project.”

Matt the Miller’s private dining space will receive new furniture, a lager TV, a mural, a barreled-sound-proof wood ceiling and more. Both the 75 bar area and dining room will see the addition of 75-inch Flatscreen Tvs, new paint and other additional renovations.
“It’s a short-term price to pay for, hopefully, a long-term gain,” Craig Barnum, president of CLB Restaurants, said in a press release.
