Fruity Pebbles corn dog now available in Columbus

Columbus has a new food trend on the block—Mochi Ring is now serving Fruity Pebble Korean Corn Dogs. The sweet and savory treat is now available at the specialty bakery and cafe on Kenny Rd., in Columbus.

Located at 1144 Kenny Centre Mall, Mochi Ring announced the new item via social media. The post said, “ NEW ITEM ALERT! Fruity Pebbles Korean Corn Dogs. A fun twist on the classic Korean corn dog! Our crispy Korean corn dog is coated with colorful, crunchy Fruity Pebbles for the perfect balance of savory and sweet. The warm, crispy bite pairs with the fruity, sugary crunch for a flavor combination that’s playful, nostalgic, and totally unexpected. Crispy. Savory. Sweet. Fruity. One bite and you’ll see why this one is a must-try!” 

Korean corn dogs are similar to the American version, but they have an added crunch, and the batter is made from yeasted wheat or rice flour then deep fried—the end result is a chewy, crispy, savory sweet treat. Pick one up at Mochi Ring, they’re open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Sunday, closed on Tuesdays. Follow them here for updates and announcements.
