German Village-area bar pausing operations for total rebrand
A huge change is coming to the S. High St. corridor near German Village.
The Daily Growler, a German Village staple at 702 S. High St. known for casual beers and patio hangs, announced they’ll be closing on March 15 for about a month for a total rebrand.
The bar announced extensive renovations, a revamped and larger drink list, a new name, and a “radical evolution.”

Beer will still be a major part of the bar.
“We aren’t just painting the walls; we’re reimagining why people gather,” The Daily Growler said in a press release. “Like a phoenix rising in Arizona, we’re shedding the old skin to become a space defined by celebration, community and the perfect libation—whatever that may be.”
Kolache Republic, which shares the space inside, will still be open during this renovation!
