Here’s when this hotly-anticipated Downtown tiki bar will open
Any self-respecting tiki fan in Central Ohio is likely a regular patron of Huli Huli Tiki Lounge in Powell, even if that means a daunting drive to the far Northwest Side.
Before the end of May, that trek will be a thing of the past, as Huli Huli prepares to open its second location Downtown.
The new Huli Huli, which will be located at 22 E. Mound St. and will take over the former Jury Room space, is set to open in late May, according to Huli Huli manager Reggie Stepanov, although an exact date hasn’t been announced.

The concept–like its Powell counterpart–will offer a variety of richly-decorated tiki drinks and dishes, in addition to an immersive island-inspired backdrop.
“Tiki has always been about more than what’s in the fun mug–it’s about the community it creates. We can’t wait to open our doors and become part of the Downtown ‘ohana,” owner Dustin Sun said. “Whether you’re stopping in for a quick drink, celebrating something big, a regular tikiphile or completely new to the flavors–we would love to host you!”
Huli Huli’s original location, which will remain open, launched in early 2019.
