Hugely popular birria spot opens new location
Some of the city’s best birria is now available on the West Side.
According to co-owner Jose Zacatelco, Martha’s Fusion Kitchen has officially opened the doors of its second storefront, which is located at 4502 Cemetery Rd. in Hilliard. The eatery held a soft opening with limited hours over the weekend, and opened in full yesterday.
Known for their birria, the Hilliard location of Martha’s will also offer Birria Burgers, fajitas, chimichangas and more. Zacatelco said the Hilliard spot doesn’t have its alcohol license yet, but is currently in the process of acquiring it.

“It means the world to be able to serve the Hilliard community. I have been wanting to open a place closer to home,” Zacatelco said. “We will be forever grateful to the Linden community for their continued support [of Martha’s first location]—we love them so much. I hope Hilliard welcomes us the same way.”
The original Martha’s Fusion Kitchen is located at 3331 Maize Rd., in the former home of Bella Pizza. The North Linden space originally opened in early 2021, and was quickly recognized as some of the most popular birria in the city. The original location will remain open, according to Zacatelco.
