Creekside Mexican restaurant announces abrupt closure; Here’s what replacing it

Gahanna is getting a new Indian restaurant soon—Durbar Nepali and Indian Cuisine has confirmed a second location opening at 64 Granville St. The location was previously Blue Agave, a Mexican restaurant which abruptly closed on May 1. The opening was announced via social media.

The post said “Durbar Cuisine is growing, and this next step is because of consistent customer demand, repeat visits, and community support. We are opening our second location at 64 Granville St, Gahanna, Ohio. This location is built to expand capacity and improve experience. Larger space, dedicated patio seating, and a stronger focus on dine-in atmosphere while maintaining the same authentic Indian flavors and service standards. This is not just another branch. It is an upgrade in how you experience the brand. More room, better environment, and a setting designed for families, groups, and outdoor dining. We appreciate every customer who pushed us to scale. Your support directly made this possible. Opening date will be announced soon. Launch & Dinner planned for this summer. Durbar is coming to Gahanna.”

The original Durbar Nepali & Indian Cuisine is located at 7621 E. Main St. in Reynoldsburg. They are open 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily. Please note, the Blue Agave located at 9745 Johnstown Rd. in New Albany is still open.
