One Clintonville street corner is getting a new lease on life after the 37-year-old antique store, Down Memory Lane, closed permanently in 2025. Located at 3250 N. High St. in Clintonville, Nusantara Indo Kitchen teased a spring or summer opening in an announcement on Facebook.

The restaurant promises authentic flavors, slow-cooked techniques, aromatic curry dishes, and a rainforest-inspired dining space. Nusantara Indo Kitchen will be the only dedicated Indonesian restaurant in Clintonville.

The full menu is still in the works; you can provide feedback about that here. If you’re a fan of aromatic curries, fresh grilled satay, or beef rendang—keep an eye out for their official grand opening.
