Indonesian restaurant opens in Central Ohio

Waroeng opens Columbus, Ohio

Columbus has a new Indonesian restaurant—Waroeng Buckeye Hibachi held their soft opening on July 7. The restaurant is located at 3512 W. Dublin-Granville Rd., they confirmed the opening via social media.

They also posted their menu online via Instagram. The menu features a blend of traditional Indonesian fare and Hibachi. Entres include Iga Bakar, Buntut Bakar, Ayam Bakar, and Nasi Mawut. They serve traditional Indonesian chicken noodle soup in turmeric broth, oxtail soup, and noodle dishes including wok-fried rice vermicelli, and Mi Ayam Komplit. The Hibachi dinner comes with meat, vegetable, and seafood options. 

Indonesian dining options are ramping up in Central Ohio. In addition to Waroeng Buckeye Hibachi, Nusantara Indo Kitchen is slated to open soon in Clintonville at 3250 N. High Street.
