DHC Chicken, a rebrand of the beloved Korean friend chicken chain CM Chicken, officially opened on May 6, 2026 in Grove City. Located in the Historic Town Center at 4009 Broadway, the highly-anticipated chain is now serving Korean fried chicken and a variety of hot Korean inspired dishes.

According to a post on Grove City Development’s Instagram (@grovecitydevelopment) the city shared:

“DHC Chicken is now OPEN! Stop in for your choice of Korean Fried Chicken, signature items and more. 4009 Broadway. 11:30 a.m. – 9 p.m.”

Originally founded in South Korea in 2009 as Choong Man Chicken, the popular chain began opening stores in the United States in 2017, where there are now just under 50 locations. The restaurant is known as one of the best spots to perfect the recipe, with six locations in the works in Columbus alone. CM Chicken has a signature way of preparing their chicken, from double frying to their “tikkudak” technique, where the chicken is both grilled and fried.

For those who want lighter fare, DHC Chicken Grove City offers greens salads options – including one with fried tofu – seaweed rice balls, chibap (a Korean dish combining fried chicken and rice) and more. The menu also boasts curry, a potato and mozzarella corndog, fried gizzard, and many more chicken options.

DHC Chicken Grove City is open every day of the week except Monday. Come get a little (fried) slice of Korean favorites and be a part of the hype.
