‘It’s ranch in a cup:’ Popular local pizzeria unveils new ranch dressing drink option

Anyone who knows Columbus pizza knows that the homemade ranch from Sexton’s Pizza is some of the best in the game, and the eatery is doubling down on the popularity of its top condiment by making it a seasonal drink option.

Until May 1, Sexton’s will be offering its new Ranch Refresher, which is–you guessed it–just their house ranch dressing in a cup.

“It’s ranch in a cup,” Sexton’s owner Joey Sexton told 614Now. “We make the best in the game and we stand on that, so much so we’re serving it as a featured drink option, entirely by itself.”

Sexton’s Ranch Refresher will be available starting today at all locations. Sexton anticipates the drink will go quickly, and noted only limited quantities each day will be available. He also offered a quick piece of advice to those looking to enjoy their new spring seasonal beverage.

“We’ve gotten a bit of feedback that it can be a bit thick for some people. In that case, we recommend mixing in a few ounces of water until your Ranch Refresher is at the right consistency,” Sexton said. 

The local pizza maker also added that this story is an April Fool’s Day joke.
