Last two Columbus locations of breakfast-focused chain restaurant close doors
A biscuit sandwich hub has closed its last remaining Columbus restaurants after the brand was acquired by a competitor.
Last month, Maple Street Biscuit Co. closed its Polaris-area and Worthington eateries, which were located at 1310 Polaris Pkwy. and 7105 High St., respectively.
In late July, Maple Street Biscuit Co. announced that it had been acquired by Biscuit Belly, a fast-growing restaurant also focused on breakfast and biscuit sandwiches. Biscuit Belly’s first Columbus location in early June.

Biscuit Belly plans to convert 34 Maple Street Biscuit Co. stores into Biscuit Belly restaurants. The remaining Maple Street locations—like Columbus’ Polaris and Worthington stores—will close.
Maple Street Biscuit Co. opened its first Columbus eatery in 2023, and by March of 2024, it operated three local restaurants. The most recently-opened of those, the brand’s Powell restaurant, shuttered during a round of closures that was announced last September.
