Ohio coffee roaster announces two new Columbus cafes

Locally roasted in Ohio, this coffee company is opening two full-service locations at Ohio State’s new University Hospital. Rooted Grounds Coffee Company announced the expansion in a recent Facebook post

The post reads “we’re proud to share that Rooted Grounds will be the coffee provider for the newly expanding Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, serving the BistrOH! and two brand-new coffee shops”.

According to their website, Rooted Coffee’s mission is to be “rooted in each community with local partnerships that have a meaningful impact on the people they serve”. The 26-story, 820 room hospital will open their doors to patients on February 22, 2026.
