Local craft cocktail bar opening second location in recently shuttered bar 

If you were bummed about an Old North staple closing in December, another local favorite is moving right in.

Bossy Grrl’s Pin Up Joint, which was located at 2598 N. High St. before it shuttered, was recently bought by The Alibi Bourbon & Cocktail Lounge, which has a location near the Short North at 843 N. High St.

The Alibi’s second, new location will be inspired by the Prohibition-era, with “speakeasy vibes, built for catching up, connecting, and raising a glass with the people you love,” according to the Instagram announcement. 

Josh Chapman, owner of The Alibi, was hand-picked by Bossy Grrl’s owners “because of his experience in the bar industry and incredibly talented staff.”
