Dessert hotspot creating seven foot-long cake for birthday of Seventh Son Brewing
Think of the best birthday present you ever received. Was it a Nerf blaster? Maybe that new bike you’d been after?
The popular Columbus dessert-maker The Cheesecake Girl is making sure Seventh Son Brewing receives one of the most unique birthday gifts we’ve ever heard of: a seven foot-long cake.
According to Cheesecake Girl owner Samantha Strange, the cake will be served at Seventh Son’s official 13th birthday party. The party will span three days, April 18-20, with the seven foot-long cake being offered on April 18.

“We are going to make like six regular sheet cakes and then layer them all next to each other and build the cake on site,” Strange told 614Now. “We are adding sheet cakes to our catering menu, so this is the perfect opportunity to kick it off! Think of the biggest adult smash cake we can make!”
The cake will feature lemon curd, raspberries and whipped cream, and will be topped with their cream cheese frosting. For $7, guests will be able to purchase a Seventh Son pint glass and a slice of cake. The cake will be cut at 1 p.m., and will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
On April 20, Seven Son will also be offering $13 shirts and $0.13 first beers for visitors.
“We are very thankful and slightly awed to be a part of the Columbus community 13 years later. We hope you can stop by and join us for some great music and a pint (of beer or cake)- thanks Columbus,” Seventh Son owner Collin Castore said in a press release.
