Local foodies offering Columbus Pizza Tour

A local foodie group is offering a pizza walking tour of Italian Village and the Short North. Columbus Food Adventures has the perfect day planned out for pizza lovers.

You can spend an entire afternoon eating your way through some of Columbus’ best pies. The tour is a three-hour crawl featuring four different pizza spots. Come hungry, meet your guide, and walk the route while trying a variety of pizza. The tour features a mix of Neapolitan, Detroit-style, and Columbus-style pies, with generous slices served along the way. The specific pizzerias change depending on the season, so each tour can offer something a little different. For the true pizza nerds—the guides dive into the stories behind the restaurants, the people making the pies, and what makes each style of pizza different. Basically, it’s a chance to nerd out about pizza while enjoying it.

For anyone who wants to make the afternoon even more of a Columbus experience, optional beer pairings are also available at booking.The whole route covers about one mile of walking, it’s less a “crawl” and more a leisurely neighborhood stroll—with pizza breaks. Tours take place Saturdays at 2 p.m., you can review availability and book here.
