Man in coma after fistfight in bathroom of Ohio Chuck E. Cheese

A 22 year-old man is in a coma after a fight broke out at a Toledo-area Chuck E. Cheese earlier this month. The incident occurred at a 5 year-old’s birthday party.

According to a WTVG story, and bodycam footage of the incident obtained by WTVG, Derrick Jones and Keshawn Fell were arrested after the fight. Jones was charged with felonious assault and Fell was charged with disorderly conduct.

The victim, who was placed into a medically-induced coma after incurring a broken eye socket, was not identified by police.

According to the WTVG story, the victim’s sister and the mother of the 5 year-old whose birthday was being celebrated noted that her child was left “traumatized” after the fight.

“I grabbed my brother, like, ‘Brother. Please talk to me. Talk to me. I’m here,’ ” she said. “It was my baby’s birthday. I was throwing this for her. Now my baby is traumatized.”
