BD Mongolian closed on Sawmill rd

A beloved stir-fry chain shut their doors over the weekend—BD’s Mongolian Grill, located at  6242 Sawmill Rd., in Dublin has closed. The all-you-can-eat Mongolian-style spot first opened the now shuttered location in 1999. According to a sign posted to the door by the franchisee, the closure is bittersweet.

The sign said, “It has been an honor to be part of your special occasions, milestones and memories. Whether you came in for a creative bowl of stir-fry, all-you-can-eat dining, to ring the gong or to share some fried Oreos, we have loved being part of your experience.”

The interactive restaurant featured lively cooking on large, Mongolian-style round grills. The chain has locations in Easton and Beavercreek that are still operational. The Arena District location closed in 2022. You can visit the Easton Town Center location at 3977 Worth Ave., or the Beavercreek location at  4488 Glengarry Dr.
