National beach-themed cafe chain opening new Clintonville location
While Clintonville already has a plethora of incredible food options, a new spot for fresh juices and smoothie bowls is on the way.
Playa Bowls, known for its variety of fruit forward smoothie bowls made with tropical fruits like açaí, pitaya (dragonfruit), and coconut, is opening at 4422 N. High St., according to the sign that’s been posted on the building. An opening date has yet to be announced.

The beach-themed concept, which is based in New Jersey, launched in Columbus in 2021, and since then, multiple locations have opened. It’s a popular destination for a healthier choice!
