A hot dog eatery with locations across the country is landing in the Buckeye State.

According to a press release, Dog Haus will open its first-ever Ohio location in Columbus. The restaurant will be located at 1576 N. High St. It’s scheduled to open in late summer. The eatery announced its plans last year, but did not share an opening timeline.

In addition a variety of smash burgers and gourmet hot dogs (including the Cowboy and the Sooo Cali) that gave the concept its name, the eatery will offer an indoor-outdoor bar, a patio with yard games and TVs for Buckeyes games.

The Columbus location will be the first Dog Haus from franchisees Cherokee Rhoda and Michelle Rhoda, a husband-and-wife duo who are bringing 12 locations across Ohio and Arkansas over the next several years.

“Columbus has an incredible energy and a food scene that continues to grow,” Cherokee Rhoda said in a press release. “We’re excited to introduce Dog Haus to the community and especially look forward to welcoming Ohio State students, alumni and fans who are looking for a fun atmosphere and quality food.”

The brand currently operates locations in 13 states.
