National wings chain debuts new ‘to-go only’ concept in Central Ohio, offers free wings for a year

Sometimes you just want to enjoy some BBQ wings in the comfort of your own home, with no one there to judge the sauce dripping down your face.

Buffalo Wild Wings, the national chain known for (you guessed it) chicken wings, is leaning into their fans who are homebodies or “anyone who wants a great meal without the wait.”

The chain is debuting their first Columbus-area GO location on Saturday, June 20, at 159 OH-3 in Sunbury, OH. This GO concept is designed for guests who are on the move, either to a picnic, an event, or their couch. Just because it’s a to-go only location doesn’t mean you can’t get their signature 26 sauces. They’ll also offer the brand’s most beloved menu items — bone-in and boneless wings, chicken tenders, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, and shareable sides.

This new format centers on digital ordering, where guests can pick up their meal or have it delivered without competing for wait times with diners who are sitting at a table.

The new Sunbury location will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. On the 20th, their opening day, the first 50 guests in line (ages 18 and older) will receive free wings for an entire year (equivalent to six free wings per week for 52 weeks)!
