New baked potato concept serving more than a dozen different varieties opens its doors

A new baked potato concept has arrived, piping hot from the oven.

The Crazy Potato officially opened its doors in December of 2025. It’s located at 1282 Essex Ave., inside of Columbus Food Hall, a collection of commercial ghost kitchens spaces just east of Weinland Park.

The new concept is offering a whopping 15 different varieties of baked potatoes, including options like:

BROUGHT TO YOU BY

Cajun Crab Potato: Baked potato, seasoned crab meat, Parmesan cheese, house Cajun aioli.
Hot Honey Chicken Mac Potato: Baked potato, 5-cheese macaroni and cheese, fried chicken, hot honey sauce.
Steak Alfredo Potato: Baked Potato, pan-seared Cajun steak, house-made Alfredo sauce, Parmesan cheese.
Breakfast Potato: Baked potato, eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese and your choice of gravy or syrup on the side.

The concept also operates a location in Indiana, with others opening soon in Chicago and Cleveland.
