New restaurant replaces longtime Clintonville BBQ spot

A new concept appears to have taken up residence in the former Iron Grill BBQ & Diner located at 5295 N. High St.

According to Google, TK’s Hangout is now listed as open at that location. The restaurant does not appear to have a social media presence or website that is active, but reports on Facebook from neighborhood restaurant goers confirm a soft opening for the new concept. There is a sign on the front of the building that reads, “TK’s Hangout Now Open!” While there are no formal menu’s available online, preliminary reviews recommend their chicken wings and cold drinks.

Iron Grill BBQ & Diner abruptly closed as of March 30. The closure was announced via a handwritten sign on the door. The sign said “Last Day—Dear loyal customers today will be the last day we will be no longer open. Thank you guys for supporting us!” TK’s Hangout was not immediately available for comment, stay tuned for menu details and an official opening announcement.
