New soft serve concept announces grand opening

A new spot serving soft, coffee drinks and more is coming to Columbus.

According to a social media post, Coffee & Cone at the Mallway will hold its grand opening on Jan. 21. The new concept is located at 1966 N. Mallway Dr., in the Mallway at Old Arlington.

“I wanted to create something that fit naturally into people’s everyday routines — a place to swing by for a coffee on the way to dropping their kids off at school or on their way to work or a place kids can grab ice cream or a snack after school,” owner Alyssa Litzinger told 614Now. “The idea was really inspired by my kids — they love being out and about in the neighborhood and I wanted a spot where other kids could make those same memories, and where parents/adults would love stopping just as much.”

Visitors can expect both soft serve–offered in chocolate, vanilla and a rotating seasonal flavor–and a variety of coffee drinks, including lattes, cold brew, drip coffee and more. Coffee & Cone at the Mallway will serve a number of pastries and small snacks.
