The beer and wine market held a soft-opening earlier this week, they confirmed via social media. The post said, “The wait is over! We are Open! Your one stop shop for all your favorites—beer, wine, beverages, and vapes. Quality products, great prices, friendly service. Thank you for supporting local. Find us at 1041 Summit St., Columbus.” The market promises to be a “Convenient neighborhood destination for a wide selection of local and imported beer and wine.” They also carry sodas, energy drinks, snacks, and some grocery essentials. They said, “Whether you are picking up your favorite beverage or grabbing daily necessities, we make shopping quick, easy, and convenient.”

Although the names are similar, the new market is not to be confused with the shuttered restaurant—The Market Italian Village—which closed in 2022. The now-closed restaurant was located just steps away at 1022 Summit St. Mezcla now occupies the former The Market Italian Village space.

Italian Village Market is open 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, you can follow them here for updates and announcements.
