Veteran-owned pop-up coffee concept opens first brick-and-mortar location
After humble beginnings with mobile pop-up coffee carts, this veteran-owned coffee company is getting a brick-and-mortar location in Gahanna. SGT Coffee Co. was founded by Army Veteran Ryan Sargent and his wife Brandi with a simple mission—to bring people together over great coffee.
The idea for SGT Coffee Co. was born from their love of hosting friends and family in their home. This sense of togetherness is what they aim to bring to every customer at SGT Coffee Co.

You can find SGT Coffee Co. at 140 N. High St. inside The Well; a community center and event space. According to Ryan, SGT Coffee Co. is built around “community, conversation, and intentional space designed as a gathering place—not just a coffee counter.” They held a ribbon cutting with the Gahanna Area Chamber of Commerce on January 22, 2026 and received a great turnout from the community on opening day.
SGT Coffee Co. is open for business Monday-Friday 7 A.M. to 3 P.M. and 8 A.M. to 2 P.M. on Saturdays. Check out their website for more information and their full menu.
