This bar and music venue will soon serve Louisiana comfort classics with a twist.

Central Ohio food truck Jam Jam announced it will open a permanent location inside Sweet Harmony Canal, at 30 Liberty St. in Canal Winchester.

Jam Jam’s brick-and-mortar space is the newest venture from the creator of the Cajun restaurant Da Levee, a Short North operation that ran successfully from 2010 until 2018.

The live music venue will begin serving Jam Jam’s modern Cajun cuisine on September 23. The grand opening party will feature live jazz by the New Basics Brass Band, T-shirts for the first 25 customers, and drinks from Sweet Harmony, all while the kitchen serves up Louisiana comfort food.

Jam Jam’s regular menu will be available, including classics such as jambalaya, gumbo, and po boy sandwiches, along with traditional dishes like the Jam burrito and its new Jam pies—hand pies stuffed with pepperoni or jambalaya.

Jam Jam will be open inside Sweet Harmony Canal from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
