Owners of popular ramen restaurant unveil new Indonesian bento box-style concept
The minds behind some of the city’s best ramen are leaning into a new brand of Asian-inspired cuisine.
BALIBOX, a new pick-up concept from Yenny Tsao, the Indonesian partner of Fukuryu Ramen founder Jeff Tsao, brings Indonesian cuisine to Columbus with the convenience of the bento box.
The chilled, grab and go box format is a nod to the Indonesian idea of Nasi Kotak, a boxed meal featuring steamed rice, proteins, and side dishes. Yenny and Jeff worked with a primarily Indonesian team worked to generate the BALIBOX offerings.
