Popular Middle Eastern chain holding grand opening in Columbus
Clear your schedules this weekend: As part of their grand opening celebration, fast-casual eatery Naf Naf Middle Eastern Grill is offering free Naf Naf for a year to the first 15 guests in line each day, according to a press release.
Naf Naf, a Chicago-based chain with 38 locations nationwide, serves stuffed pitas and customizable rice bowls with their award-winning chicken shawarma, fresh-baked pita bread made in-house, and handmade falafel.
The location is owned and operated by franchisee Roma Patel, who owns and operates multiple Tropical Smoothie Café locations across Ohio, Illinois, and Texas. Three more Naf Naf locations, to be run by Patel, are also planned to open in the greater Columbus area, according to Naf Naf’s website.

“We are so thrilled to bring the bold, fresh flavors of Middle Eastern cuisine to Columbus,” Patel said in the release. “This community deserves something exciting and delicious, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone through our doors.”
Naf Naf is located at 5918 Old Hamilton Rd. The first 15 people in line each day on Friday, March 20 and Saturday, March 21 will receive one free entrée every month through April 2027, redeemable in-store and online, according to the release.
