Beloved taqueria closes their High St. location

We have good news and bad news. We’ll go ahead and rip the band-aid off.

One of the ultimate late-night spots for birria tacos has closed their doors. “We want to share that we have officially closed our ghost kitchen location at 2864 N. High St.,” said AJ’s Tacos. “We are beyond grateful for that space—it truly helped us grow, learn, and take big steps forward as a business.”

The taqueria said that this location didn’t allow them to serve customers face to face, and they realized they wanted to provide a level of customer service that allows for that connection. A ghost kitchen operates as more of a “to-go” concept, with many orders placed online then delivered to customers.

So here’s the good news: AJ’s Tacos said they’ll be reopening their food truck in that area very soon, serving customers directly again. 

They’ll be announcing their new location soon! Until then, visit their other restaurant and bar at 3307 Sullivant Ave.
