Popular spot for wings and more buys former craft brewery for new location

A buyer has come forward for longtime Grove City craft brewery Hop Yard 62.

According to a social media post, Shakers Public House plans to open a new restaurant in the former home of the brewery, which is located at 4057 Broadway in Grove City.

“We’ve wanted to plant roots in Grove City for a long time. This will be a Shakers Public House branch with its own identity: a prohibition-style atmosphere paired with graffiti murals that tell the rise-and-fall story of an English Mastiff, Atlas, inside Dapper Dog Tavern,” the post reads.

The new location is aiming to open in April, although an exact date wasn’t announced.

Shakers Public House lost its original restaurant in a 2023 fire, but opened a new location at 480 East Wilson Bridge Rd. in Worthington in 2024.
