Popular Tex-Mex restaurant chain opening new location in Pickerington

Local Cantina is expanding with a new location opening in downtown Pickerington March 27.  

The two-story location will feature both indoor and outdoor settings, with a street-level patio and rooftop patio for customers. According to a press release, this location will be a hub for the Pickerington community, a space for future local events, patio meetups, and group gatherings. 

“We’re incredibly excited to be part of Pickerington,” George Tanchevski, founder of Local Cantina, said in a press release. “Downtown has so much heart and momentum, and we’re honored to contribute to a space that brings people together.”

Local Cantina serves Tex-Mex cuisine, with offerings like fajitas, tacos, burritos, and loaded nachos, as well as handcrafted margaritas. 

According to the release, this location will also be part of Pickerington’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area, a.k.a DORA, a designated public space where participating establishments can serve alcoholic beverages in specially marked cups for patrons to enjoy while exploring downtown.

Local Cantina’s Pickerington location, located at 4 E. Columbus St., will open for dinner service and happy hour at 3 p.m. on March 27.
