Popular wing spot announces opening date of highly-anticipated sister location
Think Shaker’s Public House – but make it dapper. The beloved wing restaurant is bringing its vibes to a brand-new tavern concept at 4057 Broadway in Grove City’s Historic Town Center. Dapper Dog Tavern is officially opening this Monday, June 1st, in the former Hopyard 62 craft brewery location.
Shaker Public House’s newest iteration in the heart of Grove City is “Where loyalty is earned, drinks are cold & dogs run the family. No funny business.” Dapper Dog announced their opening date on Instagram @dapper_dog_tavern, sharing:
“Grove City! We’re opening June 1st! Join us for the fun prohibition atmosphere, craft beer and bourbon as we celebrate Day 1 with you!”
A former Instagram post details the vision of the restaurant, which will offer chicken wings and a smaller version of the Shaker Public’s House original menu – with plenty of drinks.

“This will be a Shaker’s Public House with its own identity: a prohibition-style atmosphere paired with graffiti murals that tell the rise and fall story of an English Mastiff, Atlas, inside Dapper Dog Tavern,” the restaurant posted on Instagram.
The owner, Spencer Campbell, has been sharing the journey of opening Dapper Dog on Facebook, posting behind-the-scenes videos of the renovation and wall-to-wall murals on social media. The restaurant will be family friendly, with a dog-friendly patio.
Come on out on June 1st to experience a whole new Shaker’s Public House theme (with the same great wings).
